Yard Waste & Debris Pick Up Notice:
Câu lạc bộ bóng đá nổi tiếngDuring the COVID-19 pandemic, City of Fairfax crews continues to collect refuse, recycling, and yard waste from the curb. However, beginning on Monday, April 13, collection may take longer during the day - and yard waste and large debris may remain at the curb until 6 pm or later on regular collection days.

Face Mask, Glove and Wipe Disposal Notice:
While we encourage residents to stay-at-home, we realize there is still the need to venture out for necessities. As such, should you need to leave your homes please take the necessary steps to protect yourself from COVID-19. Gloves, masks, and disinfectant wipes should be properly disposed of in trash cans or other types of waste receptacles, not littered in parking lots or flushed down the toilet.
Littered products can enter storm drains where they can cause blockages that affect drainage during rains. Storm drains also flow to creeks and streams and can carry these products with them, causing environmental harm. When these products are flushed down the toilet they can cause blockages in your plumbing as well as the main sewer lines that serve our community.
Please consider keeping an extra plastic or paper bag with you to put the used gloves or masks in temporarily if a trash bin is not immediately available. Improperly disposed of face masks, gloves, and wipes poses both a health and environmental risk to our community.
